I spoke with social media guru Scott Walter the proprietor of said domain name and he dished some inside scoop. “Like many Vermonters I really love the original unfiltered brew so I picked up the name back in 2007. ” “I wanted to work with Bill Cherry and the gang to grow their ‘at the time’ non-existent online presence.” “They didn’t have any plans for that aspect of the business and techies they are not.” “No tours, no merchandise and I had visions of them being the next Ben and Jerry’s.“ “That never quite panned out.” “Switchback used a Facebook page for a while and upgraded to an alternate naming convention in 2014.” “Bill and I started negotiating a year or so ago on transferring the domain and that conversation stalled.” “I haven’t heard a peep from their camp since.”
